“ I'll preface this review by saying that no, this restaurant isn't the one you're probably looking for. That one is in Makati along Pasay Road, and the food costs a queen's ransom. If you're actually here to try out what Century Tsukiji has to offer, you're in for a treat. While Century Tsukiji is a bit off the beaten path (and not exactly the best of neighborhoods), their resident sushi expert Chef Yamazaki will make the trip worth your while. Try getting a nigiri set which is a varied assortment of sushi expertly prepared by Chef Yamazaki himself. You can watch from the counter how he meticulously prepares each piece, as he skillfully finds the perfect balance between the vinegared rice, fresh seafood, and just a dash of wasabi to add that extra oomph. I got the set that has 17 different kinds of sushi, but you can just order the ones you like. I suggest you widen your horizons, though! ”
